We took some of our stout brewed in December 2020 and put it into different types of Casks.
One had a Porto wine in it, then a 10 year Glenmorangie Whisky was finished in it for 12 months. The other two casks came from Jim Beam and Wild Turkey Bourbon distilleries.
As a limited edition to 200 bottles from each cask, each bottle is individually numbered.
We only added one extra ingredient, Time!
Porto/Whisky: lots of coffee but the Porto and Whisky aromas come through and the taste gives a toasty finish. ( Sold Out )
Wild Turkey: Very aromatic and the Bourbon aroma is instantly recognisable. Leaves a sweet lingering finish and hints of dried fruit.
Jim Beam: The Bourbon spicyness is evident and leaves a hint of vanilla in the aftertaste.
